Public Safety Announcement

I had to put this comic up, as a public service to humanity.
Frankly, I think you should nominate me for a Nobel Peace Prize, for warning the world of the impending danger of Chuckmas.

This is kind of a follow on to my previous comic, and is the closest I will get to having a story ark for readers to follow.
So, I hope you liked the story. I trust it did not bore you, and that you feel I developed the characters enough to draw you and build an empathy for their plight.

No?
OK then. *Sigh*

Well, just get on with adding a comment below containing your favourite Chuck Norris or Santa jokes below.
You know, like “The saddest moment for a child is not when he learns Santa Claus isn’t real, it’s when he learns Chuck Norris is.
I know that is all you are thinking of right now, isn’t it?

I bet you are not even reading this…….

This year, Santa is ready for anything……

I originally did the basis of this comic as a special request for a fan (you will know who you are).
But I just love the idea so much, that i just had to share it with everyone.

As well, this comic has spurned another idea, which I hope to have ready to share soon.
Don’t worry – the fan is also getting something very unique, so it is not like they are missing out at all.

I would also like to thank all of the readers of my comics, for sticking with me so far.
I draw these comics because I love to draw. But I keep drawing them because you, the reader, seem to think they are funny.
So, I will keep on making them, thanks to you.

And lastly, please enjoy this special video from Santa:

Heroic Computer Problems

This is the real reason superheros prefer to punch things.

I always wondered why the computers that superheros used, were so big, or seemed to be controlled just by a few large buttons.
To see what I mean , take a look at this pic of the Superfriends and their computer in the Hall of Justice.

Superfriends Computer

That thing is MASSIVE, and has very little in the way of a keyboard or mouse that would require them to touch it.
And looking at the picture, you can see how the are all too scared to even really approach it.

So, I am now convinced that this is one of the major causes of Superhero violence in the Marvel & DC universes.
Sure, it is great having powers and super strength. But if you could not play WOW, or tweet, or facebook, or surf for porn, whatever, then how would you feel?

I bet you would soon want to hit someone.
Really really hard.

Superpowered folk are not really fans of violence – they just really want to be able to play flash games & poke their friends on facebook like everyone else.

I think there is something in that for all of us, don’t you?

UPDATE: In response to this comic, to valiant twitterers have joined in the fun and linked me to their comics, which also make fun of Superheroes and computers. These are great and I thank them both very much!

Avatar Final Scene Revealed

Avatar Final Scene Revealed published on 9 Comments on Avatar Final Scene Revealed

This is what the last scene of the James Cameron Movie “AVATAR” was originally going to be.

Just kidding.
There is no way that James Cameron is in touch with modern culture enough to even know what LOLCAT is.
And I would bet my life he has never visited icanhascheezburger.com

This movie opens worldwide in just 7 days (at the time of posting this), and there are already many mixed reviews about it.
Some are not giving it much of a chance, and others feel this will be the “Gone with the wind” of Sci-Fi feature films.
I believe it may end up being this generations “Dances with wolves”, but in space.
Who knows. Only time will tell.

All I know is that James Cameron is on my shit list.
Yes, that’s right – I have a beef with James Cameron.

Why?, I hear you ask. Well, there are many reasons, but the main ones are:

  1. Titanic was about 2 hours too long.
  2. The Abyss was 30 mins too long.
  3. The “special preview screenings” he organised to promote Avatar showed nothing more than I could see in trailers online, at the time. (I won tickets to one of these screenings and spent a LOT of time and effort to get there, only to be let down by Cameron once again)
  4. The 3D in Avatar does not make the graphics better. (Those glasses are annoying and I have seen better CG graphics in computer games)
  5. The $500 million you used to make this “epic” could have gone to something much better – like cancer research or a campaign to get people worldwide to stop using Internet Explorer 6.
  6. “Let’s make the aliens look like Giant cat people!”. Wow. I expected better from you, James. Where is the originality there? That idea has been used so many times.

Anyway, there are a few reasons why I have a beef with James Cameron.
I would love to hear about why you love or hate him. Drop some feedback in below.
